You will serve as the key interface between teams, contractors, and stakeholders, driving facility performance, maintenance excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Do\nResponsible for maintenance and operation of the Facility (including Electrical systems, Fire protection & alarm systems, Roofs, Building, HVAC systems, Cold & Freezer rooms, Dock Stations, Janitorial services etc).\nResponsible for developing and updating the standard operating procedures, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, and calibration programs to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest level of Safety & Quality. This includes routine and plant major shutdown activities.\nCoordinate facilities shutdown related activities and ensure on-time completion without schedule delays or disruptions to vertical start-up.\nResponsible for support and execution of facilities change control and other facilities commissioning activities.\nManage contractors for day-to-day facilities operations to ensure zero downtime of facilities systems and drive continuous improvement projects and initiatives.\nPrepare operation and maintenance budgets and ensure spending is in line with committed figures.\nComply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene rules, and sanitation standards.\nPerform, evaluate and direct design and construction disciplines including architectural, electrical, mechanical, and controls.\nManage various facility projects including scope, budget and schedule.\nParticipate in vendor bid solicitation, selection and contract management.\nInvestigate or ensure adequate investigation of all incidents and facilitate corrective actions to prevent future occurrence.\nManage facilities improvement plans as part of site improvement initiatives.\nAny other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nRequirements\nBachelor of Engineering Degree majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil Engineering or related discipline, or Diploma with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.\n2 to 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.\nGood planning and supervisory skills with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.\nHigh computer literacy.\nGood contractor management skills.\nGood stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to organize activities and communicate clearly with stakeholders.\nLocation\nThis position is based in Tuas, Singapore.\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
