We help restore people's health so they can live their best and longest lives.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced, high performing Finance Manager - R&D to support Abbott’s Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division in our Sylmar, CA location. The Finance Manager, R&D will be the key financial business partner and support to CRM R&D’s leadership teams. This role is also responsible for delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision making and driving results.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nPosition has full responsibility for preparing, coordinating, consolidating and developing an Annual Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and other financial forecasts for CRM’s R&D organization.\nPartner with the R&D organization to provide financial insights and analytics that assist with strategic decisions on expense management, project resourcing, and business case development.\nManage the month-end close process and reporting of monthly financial performance metrics such as expense variances, headcount tracking and program spending.\nPrepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis to support the business.
