As Finance Systems Analyst, you will ensure data integrity, master data governance, user access compliance, and system readiness for financial planning and reporting processes. Acting as a key liaison between Finance and IT stakeholders, you will support efficient operations through system expertise, analytics, training, and process optimization.\nJob Responsibilities & Scope\nAdminister and support Finance planning and reporting systems, with a primary focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and related financial applications.\nSupport month-end close activities through data validation, reconciliations, and system tie-outs using Excel and reporting tools.\nMaintain Finance master data and organizational hierarchies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.\nPrepare systems, master data, and reporting structures for planning cycles.\nInvestigate, coordinate, and resolve user and business support tickets, partnering with IT teams on enhancements and issue resolution.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business decision-making.\nManage user access lifecycle activities, including user creation, modification, termination, and periodic access recertification.\nCreate and maintain training materials, user guides, and deliver system training to support user adoption and process consistency.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, standardization, and process optimization.\nActs as divisional subject matter expert for Financial Systems, with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Finance master data, and related planning and reporting processes.\nEnsures system reliability, high-quality data, and compliance with user access controls and governance standards.\nSupports Finance planning, reporting, and close processes through effective system administration and governance.\nCollaborates with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders across a global organization.\nOperates independently within defined processes while proactively identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.\nAdvanced degree or professional certification would be considered an asset.\n2-5 years of experience in Finance Systems, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Business Analytics, or a related area.\nExperience working with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or comparable planning and reporting platforms.\nStrong Excel skills including data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.\nExperience with master data management and user access administration is preferred.\nExperience working in a global or matrix environment would be an asset.\nStrong systems aptitude and technology affinity.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to data quality.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nSelf-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities through strong planning and organizational skills.\nAbility to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.\nExcellent Excel knowledge and strong numerical reasoning.\nResults-driven with a proactive and customer-focused approach.\nExcellent command of English is mandatory; additional languages are an asset.\nWillingness to work in a highly collaborative international environment.\nWorking at Abbott\nAt Abbott, you can do work that matters and help people to live a healthier and full life, grow your career, and learn, be your true self.
