A company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.\nThe Opportunity\nAs the Finance Controller, to provide financial planning, control, stewardship to Singapore Abbott Nutrition business and act as business partner in ensuring all commercial activities and objectives are maximized and delivered.\nWhat You’ll Do\nResponsible for ensuring financial management and controls around ANI division of Singapore Affiliate. \nResponsible for a comprehensive set of controllership activities including financial control, financial planning, financial reporting, financial analysis and cash flow for the division. \nPart of the leadership team responsible for the establishment of financial and business goals, strategies, tactics and priorities. Track and monitor actual sales and margin performance. \nPrepare commentary and take timely action to address variances/operating issues. \nManage and control department expenses and ensure that month end process and accounting entries are accurately reflected. \nEstablish and maintain internal process, procedures and controls which ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and forecasts; avoid errors and surprises. \nPrepare Plan, RLBE’s and all other Area / Affiliate request review and critically assess assumptions for reasonableness. \nProactively support commercial team with analytical support on all KPI and critical operation issues such as distributor contracts, tenders, pricing, gross-to-net and parallel imports. \nParticipate in ANI initiatives for enhancement of business processes, margin & profit improvement initiatives and financial effectiveness. Participate in management reviews and affiliate compliance committee. \nParticipate in key customers’ and distributors’ reviews and assess credit-worthiness especially new accounts. \nEnsure divisional and affiliate adherence to all local / Corporate financial and OEC policies and procedures. \nCoaching to Finance Analyst.\nRequirements\nBachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or related disciplines. \nFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). \nMinimum of 10 years management experience. \nHigh caliber individual - ambitious, driven to achieve excellent standards and to continually seek improvements. \nConfident communicator and influencer - able to develop good relationships easily with credibility to challenge management. \nAbility to maintain a good balance between hands-on and high level.\n English language proficiency\nApply Now\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
