Everything we build, including the software you'd be leading, exists to move that mission forward.\nThe Application Analyst will work on business systems design, configuration, upgrades, and improvements for assigned technology platforms. As a primary support contact for application end-users, the Application Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in the application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them. The Application Analyst will perform impact analysis of desired changes, build and test systems changes, and identify areas of improvement associated with platform performance and opportunities to enable business processes and requirements.\nEssential Duties\nInclude, but are not limited to, the following:\nResponsible for business systems design and configuration, upgrades, and improvements for low complexity applications using established processes and procedures.\nEstimate and assess impact of requested changes to assigned business system and/or platform.\nGuide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.\nDevelop new processes and procedures in partnership with leadership and business teams.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation.\nContribute to peer design and code reviews.\nIdentify issues that arise in the application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them.\nCreate and maintain system documentation.\nLiaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor’s implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needs with the delivery of system changes.\nDevelop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.\nHelp develop, document, and participate in trainings and work with end users.\nTroubleshoot problems and questions, and provide regular updates on status.\nProvide end-user production support for issues entered into issue tracking systems.\nReview the status of projects and issues with project leadership.\nDemonstrate flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs.\nApply strong problem-solving skills.\nAbility and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are done in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.\nAbility and willingness to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed, to seek out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others.\nAbility to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.\nAbility to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.\nAbility and willingness to learn new software applications, as needed.\nApply strong analytical skills, business intuition, and organizational ability.\nApply excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to operate in a cross-functional and complex matrix environment.\nAbility to be adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.\nUphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.\nSupport and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance.\nAbility to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.\nAbility to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.\nAbility to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.\nAbility to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.\nAbility and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations.\nAbility to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.\n3+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role.\nDemonstrated ability to understand industry best practices.\nStrong computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs.\nDemonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreference given to active Epic certifications Epic Prelude (Preferred), Epic Identity, and Epic Eligibility (RTE).\nExperience configuring business systems software in a life sciences, health care, or related industry.\nWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
