The Opportunity
As the District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing Territory Managers covering a specific territory with defined targets and defined resources.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise a team of two or more professionals, focusing on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.
- Promote and/or sell the organization’s products across multiple or non-specified channels in a designated territory by contacting specialists, physicians, pharmacies and/or distributors.
- Drive achievement of monthly targets per product with a goal of achieving annual targets.
- Manage financial resources assigned to the district, specifically promotional expenses, to support target achievement.
- Manage Territory Managers and ensure consistent achievement of key performance indicators.
- Conduct product presentations and focus group discussions for the team when needed.
- Train and develop Territory Managers to support their overall growth and performance.
- Collaborate with distributors to ensure efficient delivery of products to points of purchase.
- Coach and motivate the district team to maximize performance.
- Address day-to-day business challenges and develop effective solutions to support customers, clients, and business objectives.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree.
- Must have been a Sales Manager for at least 5 years.
- Proven track record in sales with strong leadership skills.
- Minimum 4 years of experience/background.
