Works on process engineering problems of limited scope Follows standard procedures in executing experiments and process development studies Develops working relationships internally.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nAssist in designing or developing new manufacturing processes and equipment, and assist in process verification and validation.\nAssist in optimizing manufacturing processes.\nConduct tests, collect and format data, and assist in analysis of engineering studies (DOEs).\nAssists in start up of new equipment and execution of validation protocols.\nCommunicate effectively and participate on cross functional development teams.\nParticipates in technical design reviews for process equipment and product design and requirements documents.\nResponsible for utilizing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.\nAble to follow approved Design Control procedures for process development in accordance with FDA guidelines.\nRequired Qualifications\nAssociates’ Degree in n an Engineering / Technical Discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Physics preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. \nMinimum 3 years Technical or relevant experience\nKnowledge of general engineering principals.\nTechnical experience in mechanical or chemical engineering with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nKnowledge of processes used in the development and manufacturing of medical devices, particularly diabetes strips.\nExperience in performing engineering calculations, controlled tests, statistical analyses.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree\nLearn more about our benefits that add real value to your life to help you live fully:www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that provides the growth and strength to build your future.
