This position is critical for the team to support iSens Electronica organization based in Porto, Portugal.\nThe position of financial analyst serves as a key finance partner supporting the FP&A manager with financial planning activities, forecasting processes, and analysis activities of the business and provides accurate and timely financial reporting and ensures accuracy and integrity of all financial information. This role collaborates closely with operational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical support that enables informed decision-making and drives operational performance.\nPrimary responsibilities:\nPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identifying key drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.\nAssist with financial reporting and performance analysis of iSens P&L, including gross margin, operating expenses, capital spending, and operational performance metrics.\nSupport FP&A Manager with the development and maintenance of financial models and analysis, including resource needs.\nAssist with preparation of financial presentations and KPIs to be shared with senior leaders within the organization.\nAnalyze cost drivers and operational performance metrics to support the identification of margin improvement opportunities and productivity initiatives.\nPrepare monthly business review materials and management reporting packages, translating financial and operational results into actionable insights and recommendations.\nMonitor performance against budget and forecast commitments, assisting business partners in identifying corrective actions when performance gaps arise.\nParticipate in and help drive cross-functional transformation initiatives, process improvement projects, and modernization efforts that enhance efficiency, scalability, and business performance.\nDrive continuous improvement in forecasting, reporting, and analytics processes through automation, standardization, and business intelligence solutions.\nSupport month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.\nSupport the integration of iSens with overall Abbott systems and reporting, including Catapult project to migrate into Abbott ERP System.\nAssist with iSens standard costs accounting implementation and on-going reporting.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.\n2 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, operational finance, or a related finance function\nProfecient in Portuguese.\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.\nSelf-sufficient with ability to meet project timelines.\nStrong technical skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Power BI) with ability to learn systems quickly.
