The Opportunity
This position works out of our Tipp City, OH location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of thequality system
- Via use of Cambarradio frequencyinventory system, the employee stores, picks or assembles finished product for shipment
- Understands and properly utilizesship ordersand associatedwarehousepaperworkand RF terminalsfor shipping/receiving finished product
- Maintains proper FIFOflowof finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)
- Stores, picks or assembles raw materials in thewarehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, release status and lot number
- Checks materials againstpackaginglists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinentdocumentationto assure conformity and accuracy
- Delivers materials toproductionlines in a timelymanner, maintainsproper FIFOflowof raw materials and utilizes knowledge of both raw materials and finishedproduct nomenclature
- Cleans up both raw material and finished goodswarehouseareas
- Stages labels in mobile security carts forproductionlines
- Understands and completeslabel controlportion of work order
- Maintainsaccurate recordsand reconcilesinventory errors
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Must have experience with sit down forklifts
- Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of considerable weight (50 lbs.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of technical college computeroperationscourses
- Knowledge of applicableregulatory standardsand requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
- Ability to make decisionsbased on awareness of areaoperations
- Ability to deal with people under high pressure and in a constantlychanging environment
- Good written/verbal communication skills,interpersonal skillsandanalyticaltroubleshootingskills

$15.80 - $31.60/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
