The primary objective of this role is to assist with executing project tasks or working with leadership to identify resources that allow us to optimize equipment/service delivery processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement operational strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring the highest level of service quality.\nEssential Duties\ninclude but are not limited to the following:\nSupport fact-based decision-making and measurement of operational effectiveness (i.e., new process operating as designed) and/or economics (i.e., ROI) of company initiatives.\nParticipate in and support departmental projects for new labs and product lines for space planning, equipment purchases, equipment service contracts, and spare parts forecasts.\nEvaluate the economic and/or operational impact of new service processes and/or strategies.\nAssist project teams with breaking project work into manageable packages and organizing into a project schedule.\nProvide necessary support for process improvement initiatives within the Laboratory Automation Service Operations department\nCoordinate and provide communication updates to key stakeholders, management, and project teams\nCreate workflows to show service inventory requirements to support planned and unplanned service events to scale with growth\nReview processes for scheduling of planned events as input to service inventory and service capacity planning.\nReview available reports to determine material supply needs and take appropriate actions to meet those needs while considering overall inventory investment.\nWork with cross-functional teams to improve and maintain in inventory cycle counting process; assist with physical counts, as needed.\nHelp identify end-of-life parts and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders to assess impact and develop a strategy for moving forward. \nContribute to maintaining vendor relationships while working with LAS Procurement and Supply Chain teams to analyze lead times for accuracy, resolve backorders, and establish purchasing strategies\nAbility to clearly communicate to other departments and teams, as necessary, to drive alignment and visibility.\nProvide necessary support to the Instrument production team on planning initiatives and Inventory management activities\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to mentor and train others.\nUphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.\nSupport and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance.\nAbility to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.\nAbility to work designated schedule.\nAbility to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.\nAbility to work overtime, as needed.\nAbility to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.\nAbility and means to travel between Madison locations.\nAbility to travel 10% of the working time away from the work location, which may include overnight/weekend travel.\nRequired Qualifications\n· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Operations, or related field; or Associate degree in Business Administration or Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.\n· 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, project management, service operations, or related fields.\no Including 1+ years of experience leading project teams and/or directing people without direct authority.\n· Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel macros and pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Visio.\n· Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.\n· Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a biotech or medical device field, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO13485 environment.\nExperience working with SAP for materials management, purchasing, or plant maintenance.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel macros, pivot tables, or other similar data analysis tools.\nWe are an equal employment opportunity employer.
