You will have access to:\nCareer development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of.\nA company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.\nA company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.\nReport to: Demand Planning & Supply Chain Director\nWorking location: Ho Chi Minh\nMAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:\nLead EPD Vietnam’s importation, customs and trade compliance operations under FIE business model, ensuring uninterrupted product supply and alignment with business demand.\nEstablish and maintain compliant, efficient and sustainable import processes by managing customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, third-party logistics partners and customs brokers.\nDrive operational excellence, cost optimization and risk mitigation through effective logistics planning, performance management, audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives\n\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:\n1. Import & Customs Management\nManage import plans with cross-functional teams and third-party partners, ensuring timely execution aligned with business demand.\nHS Classification, FTA & Licensing Management\nVerify HS classification and compliance with applicable regulations, including duty exemptions, reductions, FTAs and specialized management requirements.\nReview Free Trade Agreement (FTA) opportunities to optimize duty savings while maintaining compliance.\nMonitor and manage import licenses, LOA/POA/NOA, product registrations and import permits, as required.\nVAT & Import Duty/ Cost monitoring and management\nManage VAT and import duty planning and processing in collaboration with the Finance team and customs brokers.\nControl customs brokerage fees, pass-through costs and other import-related surcharges.\nCoordinate and support payment processing between customs brokers and internal stakeholders.\nCustoms Brokerage Tender and Contracting Process Management: Collaborate with the Procurement team to manage customs brokerage service tenders, negotiate contract terms and secure competitive quotations.\nBroker performance management: Monitor and manage customs broker performance against agreed service levels.\n2. Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization\nWarehouse/Logistics Capacity Planning\nManage inbound, outbound and storage capacity planning to optimize warehouse productivity and utilization.\nSupport business continuity and supply resilience through effective logistics planning, risk management and contingency planning.\nSupport annual budgeting and importation cost planning activities.\nWarehouse performance management and Continuous improvement\nMonitor and evaluate warehouse performance against established KPIs and service levels.\nIdentify opportunities to optimize transportation, warehousing and importation costs while maintaining required service levels.\nLead initiatives to improve logistics processes, reduce waste and enhance operational efficiency.\n3. Customs, Trade and Regulatory Compliance\nMonitor regulatory changes related to customs, importation and international trade, and assess their business impact.\nEnsure all importation activities comply with applicable Vietnamese customs regulations, import requirements and corporate compliance standards.\nMonitor and maintain compliance with OEC Third-Party Process (3PP) requirements for customs brokers.\nEstablish, maintain and continuously improve customs and trade compliance processes, SOPs and internal controls.\n4.
