This individual will effectively promote Abbott Cancer Diagnostics products to physicians, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), multi-specialty clinics, and other health care providers within the designated area. This leader will recruit, train, coach, lead and provide performance management for the team in addition to directly promoting our products.\nThis position is field-based and requires the selected candidate to reside in the market. The role involves spending up to 75% of the time in the field, partnering with and coaching Screening Solutions Specialists throughout the territory.\nWhat you will work on\nTravel with direct reports in order to observe and provide training and coaching.\n\nManage the assigned area’s sales targets and maintain ongoing reporting of progress with management team.\n\nEstablish and maintain ongoing communication and team operating mechanisms to ensure appropriate information is shared and collaboration within and outside of the team is taking place.\n\nEnsure the sales force compliance in all Quality, Regulatory, and Company policies and guidelines.\n\nIdentify and build strong relationships with key thought leaders and decision makers in the area.\n\nCollect ongoing customer insights, market trends, and competitive data from salesforce and communicate to leadership and peers.\n\nLeverage up-to-date product and technical expertise to effectively present and discuss the technology and clinical benefits in terms of which are relevant to customers.\n\nEnsure the effective use of sales processes, approved product marketing, and product promotion material by regional sales force.\n\nLeverage stakeholders and other company resources to provide the necessary technical, clinical, and business content to create a competitive differentiation and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.\n\nManage open territories effectively while recruiting for new personnel should a territory be vacated within designated area.\n\nConsistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities, including but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team, foster a culture of high performance, lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future.\n\nEffectively manage, support, and guide your team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities.\n\nAbility to successfully forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.\n\nUphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.\n\nSupport and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.\n\nAbility to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.\n\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance.\n\nAbility to work designated schedule.\n\nAbility to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.\n\nAbility to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 60% of a typical working day.\n\nAbility to travel 60% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or field as outlined in the essential duties.\n\n5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role in a medical, healthcare, or technical field.\n\n1+ year of experience in a leadership capacity, such as, serving in a training role, completing a stretch assignment within Exact, serving as a new hire mentor, or active participation in a champion role.\n\nPossession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed.\n\nNo more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months.\n\nNo alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months.\n\nNo other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Abbott Cancer Diagnostics to what we deems to be an unacceptable level of liability.\n\nAbility to meet any requirements set by healthcare facilities for access to those facilities (e.g. vaccination requirements, mask requirements, etc.).\n\nDemonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.\n\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or field as outlined in the essential duties.\n\nExperience selling and/or leading a sales team in primary care physician office or OB/GYN practice settings.\n\nExperience in a sales leadership role.\n\nWillingness to relocate.\n\nThe base pay for this position is\n$99,300.00 -
