You will provide oversight and leadership of manufacturing food safety programs, ensuring risks are identified, controlled and continuously improved in alignment with HACCP and applicable regulatory requirements. You will ensure manufacturing computerized systems (e.g. SAP, POMS) are fit for use, validated and compliant, with strong adherence to data integrity (ALCOA+) principles. You will lead manufacturing input into deviations, investigations, CAPA and change control, ensuring robust root cause analysis, effective actions and prevention of recurrence. You will oversee systems and controls related to inventory accuracy, traceability and material usage and identifying systemic opportunities for improvement. You will also manage and govern budgets related to manufacturing systems, food safety programs and compliance activities, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality or safety.\nWhat You’ll Do\nGovern manufacturing Quality Management Systems (QMS), including deviations, investigations, CAPA, change control and audit readiness.\nEnsure manufacturing compliance with cGMP, food safety regulations, corporate quality standards and data integrity requirements.\nLead manufacturing food safety systems (HACCP, PRPs), ensuring effective risk identification, control and regulatory compliance.\nMonitor, trend and report quality, compliance, and food safety KPIs; identify risks and drive continuous improvement.\nAct as manufacturing systems representative for internal, corporate, customer and regulatory audits and inspections.\nGovern manufacturing computerized systems (e.g., SAP, POMS) and inventory processes to ensure accuracy, traceability and compliance.\nAnalyze material usage and inventory discrepancies, drive corrective actions in partnership with Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.\nProvide financial governance and budget oversight for manufacturing systems and quality activities.\nCoach and mentor team members to strengthen systems thinking, compliance culture and business acumen.\nComply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene rules, and sanitation standards.\nAny other duties as assigned by manager.\nRequirements\n6 - 8 years of experience in regulated manufacturing (Food, Nutritional, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or similar).\nStrong experience in manufacturing Quality systems, CAPA management and audit support.\nHands-on exposure to SAP, POMS, inventory controls and material usage analysis.\nExperience supporting budget management and financial governance in an Operations environment.\nAbility to make sound, risk-based decisions balancing quality, food safety, and cost.\nStrong influencing, analytical, and communication skills.\nEffective collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Supply Chain functions.\nBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Life Sciences, or related discipline.\nProfessional certifications (Quality, Food Safety, Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management) are an advantage.\nLocation\nThis position is based in Tuas, Singapore.\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
