The Opportunity:
The Portland, OR facility is seeking a highly capable and organized Manufacturing Supervisor for 2nd shift (2:30pm-1:00am) to drive production performance by maintaining strong daily engagement with staff, using a hands-on approach to communication, problem-solving, and performance management to build a high-performing, motivated team.
What You’ll Work On
- Manage a team of manufacturing operators and production technicians (incl. full-time and contingent staff).
- Manage day-to-day operations for the production shift, including labor and material flow, production scheduling, line support, and change management.
- Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
- Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff.
- Lead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall manufacturing performance to achieve daily and long-term targets.
- Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years related work experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment.
- Strong supervisor skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees.
- Effective communication (verbal written), interpersonal, and motivational skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device industry experience
- Experience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping).

The base pay for this position is
$61,300.00 - $122,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
