You will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement while applying Lean Manufacturing principles to drive operational excellence.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nSupervise day-to-day operations on the manufacturing floor, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.\nChampion Abbott’s cultural values by promoting a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.\nLead and coach team members in Lean tools such as 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis.\nIdentify and eliminate waste through continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce variability.\nEnsure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and internal quality standards.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and support new product introductions.\nConduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support employee development and training.\nMaintain accurate documentation and support audits and inspections.\nIn addition to the duties of a grade 14 supervisor, a grade 15 supervisor has demonstrated leadership capabilities in the areas of lean systems and Tier meetings, to the point where they become a training resource for other areas within the building.\nAble to teach others how their teams performance ties to the financial outcomes monthly and ability to support the financial planning process.\nAbility to identify opportunities within the financial outcomes that are within their control and propose cost improvement projects.\nShift\nMonday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, life sciences, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device or pharmaceutical preferred).\nMinimum 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.\nKnowledge of: FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP. Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.
