This role is also accountable for detailed plant and process problem solving, plant cleaning, plant walks, inspection and running the process. We are looking for 8 Senior Operators to join us.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and support the team to achieve engagement and performance targets.\nDevelop team capability through coaching and guidance.\nDeliver plant operational targets across multiple processes.\nMaximise outputs by effectively running and monitoring processes.\nIdentify and resolve process issues through problem solving.\nAdapt processes in response to changing work conditions.\nMake effective decisions based on experience and available information.\nUse and maintain production, quality, maintenance, and health and safety systems, including accurate record keeping.\nAttend regular departmental meetings with relevant manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.\nMeet the requirements of ISO by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.\nComply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures, and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimizing accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.\nEnsure any PPE provided by Abbott is worn and maintained.\nReport any accidents or incidents within 24 hours through allocated system and notify your manager.\nEnsure all activities carried out by self and others are in accordance with legislative employment policies, health & safety requirements and global policy.\nPromote a standard of excellence for quality and customer focus at Abbott.\nUphold the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.\nLive our Abbott Values - Pioneering, Achieving, Caring, Enduring.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Abbott standard operating procedures and policies and always ensure compliance.\nEnsure your Company related activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.\nRequirements\nEnsure the timely completion of the timesheet via allocated system.\nCompletion of all assigned training to this role by the scheduled due date is mandatory.\nRelevant qualification in dairy processing, e.g. NZ Diploma in Dairy Processing, is preferred.\nPreferred relevant Degree (Food Manufacturing, Chemical and Process, Engineering etc.).\nMinimum 3-5 years in the FMCG industry is essential and/or 3-5 years in spray drying.\nWorking under a food safety risk management program is preferred.\nLocation:\nThis position is based in Pokeno,Auckland.\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
