Successful candidates will demonstrate strong daily engagement with staff and a hands-on approach to communication, problem-solving, and performance management.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nManage a team of manufacturing operators and technicians (including full-time and contingent staff) across a diverse set of processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.\nManage day-to-day operations for the production shift, including training, labor allocation, material flow, production scheduling, line support, and change management.\nMonitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff.\nPromote a safe and positive work environment\nEnsure required product quality levels and requlatory compliance are achieved through the use of standard work and training to those standards.\nLead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and manufacturing performance that achieve both daily and long-term goals.\nRecruit, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.\nCross-train, develop, and mentor staff to ensure long-term production results.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociates Degree or higher\nMinimum of 7 years manufacturing supervisory experience in a regulated, multi-product, and multi-process environment.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees.\nEffective communication (verbal, written, and visual), interpersonal, and motivational skills.\nStrong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results.\nDemonstrated ability to lead projects that improve production results.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMedical device industry experience\nExperience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping).\nApply Now\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
