This role will partner with the Similac finance team and cross-functional partners to develop key expense forecasts and budgets. This role will specifically oversee Similac Excess and Obsolete (E&O) and Advertising, Promotion and Gratis (AP&G) investment (advertising, promotion and gratis) including reserves management and month-end close responsibilities. The Financial Analyst delivers financial insights, variance analysis, and recommendations that enable sound business decisions and drive financial performance.\n\nWhat You’ll Work On\n· Manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reserve processes, including analysis, reporting, forecasting, and identification of financial risks and opportunities.\n· Lead month-end close activities for Similac AP&G, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.\n· Support the development of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial plans for AP&G, E&O and OMC lines of P&L.\n· Perform detailed variance analysis of actual results versus forecast, budget, and prior year performance, identifying key business drivers and trends.\n· Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate financial results, provide actionable insights, and support informed business decision-making.\n· Prepare and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations that highlight performance, risks, and opportunities.\n· Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.\n· Identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial reporting, forecast accuracy, and overall business performance.\n· Collaborate with business partners to evaluate the financial impacts of strategic initiatives, spending proposals, and operational changes.\n· Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field\n· 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, operational finance, or a related finance function\n· Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis\n· Strong PC/system skills:\n· Excel and PowerPoint expertise is a must. Expert Excel skills and experience a plus.\n· Advanced ability to develop Ad-Hoc reports using tools such as Cognos and Excel.\n Preferred Qualifications\n· Analytically strong\n· Able to communicate responses in a clear and concise manner\n· Able to collaborate and compromise with multiple cross-functional partners and business stakeholders\n· Able to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency when needed, able to prioritize the needs of various customers (retail and BU partners, ANPD leadership, etc.)\nThe base pay for this position is\n$61,300.00 -
