The role will be responsible for building high-performing teams, driving execution excellence, developing talent, and ensuring successful delivery of critical data and analytics solutions that support business priorities across Abbott.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with a solid technical understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, AI, and business intelligence solutions and thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative global environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDelivery Leadership\nLead day-to-day operations of a Malaysia and India based Data & Analytics delivery organization.\nDrive successful execution of projects supporting Data Engineering, Reporting, Advanced Analytics, AI, and Data Platform initiatives.\nEnsure high-quality, timely delivery of solutions while meeting established business objectives and service commitments.\nCollaborate with global stakeholders to prioritize work, manage capacity, and optimize resource utilization.\nEstablish and monitor operational metrics, delivery KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nRecruit, develop, and retain high-performing technical professionals.\nProvide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and career development support for team members.\nFoster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-accountability culture.\nManage employee performance, succession planning, and workforce development activities.\nSupport scaling of the organization in alignment with business growth and strategic priorities.\nData Engineering & Platform Enablement\nLead teams supporting enterprise data engineering and data platform initiatives.\nSupport development and maintenance of modern cloud-based data solutions.\nPartner with global technology teams to implement best practices, standards, and governance processes.\nDrive adoption of scalable and reusable development frameworks.\nSupport modernization efforts involving Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and related technologies.\nAnalytics & AI Solutions\nPartner with Advanced Analytics leaders to support delivery of predictive analytics, machine learning, AI, and Generative AI initiatives.\nEnable development of scalable analytics solutions that improve business decision-making and operational performance.\nSupport responsible AI practices, governance processes, and model lifecycle management.\nPromote innovation and continuous learning across analytics and AI disciplines.\nBusiness Partnership\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and IT partners to understand priorities and deliver value-driven solutions.\nServe as a trusted delivery partner across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Corporate functions.\nSupport cross-functional initiatives requiring coordination across multiple global teams.\nEnsure solutions align with security, compliance, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nOperational Excellence\nEstablish effective delivery processes, resource planning practices, and team operating models.\nIdentify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nManage vendor and partner relationships when appropriate.\nDrive continuous improvement and operational maturity across the delivery organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nExperience\n8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Information Management, Business Intelligence, or related disciplines.\n3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.\nExperience supporting global delivery organizations and distributed teams.\nExperience building and leading offshore or capability-center teams is highly desirable.\nDemonstrated success leading large-scale data and analytics projects.\nTechnical Knowledge\nExperience in one or more of the following areas:\nData Engineering\nData Platforms\nDatabricks\nMicrosoft Fabric\nAzure Data Services\nBusiness Intelligence
