Serving as the primary Operations point of accountability, you'll align strategy, priorities, resources, and timelines to support product availability, compliance, supply continuity, cost, quality, and broader business objectives.\nYou'll act as a change leader for new product introductions, system implementations, and process transformations while managing risks, dependencies, budgets, trade-offs, governance, and executive-level communication.\nWhat You'll Work On\nLead complex, cross-functional and multi-site Operations programs, serving as the single point of accountability for scope, objectives, milestones, execution, and program outcomes.\nAlign Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, manufacturing, and other business functions to support product availability, lifecycle management, supply continuity, compliance, cost, quality, and service objectives.\nDrive major change initiatives including new product introductions, ERP and planning-system implementations, and process transformations while ensuring stakeholder alignment and minimizing operational disruption.\nProactively identify and manage cross-functional risks, dependencies, constraints, budgets, and trade-offs; lead scenario analysis and structured decision-making to resolve competing priorities.\nEstablish governance structures, operating cadences, and performance dashboards that provide visibility into program health, operational impacts, benefits realization, risks, and decisions required from senior leadership.\nLead through influence in a matrixed organization, coordinating resources across reporting structures while maintaining accountability for successful project delivery and continuous improvement.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a field related to the essential duties; or an associate degree plus 2 years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience.\n8+ years of experience within Operations, Procurement, or Supply Chain.\nDemonstrated experience leading projects and/or project teams, including accountability for results in a matrixed organization.\n3+ years of experience in a biotechnology manufacturing facility working within cGMP, FDA-regulated, ISO 13485, and LDT environments and standards.\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.\nProficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.\nAbility and means to travel between local locations up to 50% and travel approximately 10% away from the primary work location, which may include overnight or weekend travel.\nCurrent authorization to work in the country where the work will be performed without employer sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.\nProject Management Institute (PMI) certification.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.\nExperience with qPCR or NGS assay development, design transfer, or product support.\nExperience with supply chain or Operations ERP systems.\nApply Now\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: https://abbottbenefits.com/\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.\nAbbott is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to employee diversity.\nConnect with us at abbott.com, on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/company/abbott-/, and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/AbbottCareers.\nThe base pay for this position is\n$78,000.00 -
