Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre system.\nPurpose of the job\nThe main responsibility of the Laboratory Supervisor is to manage a team of test operators within the technical services department, ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance. The Laboratory Supervisor oversees and plans day to day test lab activities, whilst ensuring that policies and procedures are current and being adhered to.\nMajor Responsibilities\nManage a team of test operators in the Technical Services department to conduct performance testing on all product.\nEnsuring that the manufacturing schedules is met, producing correct volume requirements and product mix annually.\nProblem solving of plant and manufacturing equipment to achieve product quality and production schedule goals.\nEnsuring that productivity, quality and cost objectives are achieved.\nEnsuring conformance with all relevant Policies and Procedures.\nContributing to the creation of Work Instructions and Operations Procedures to maintain compliance.\nCompletion of Performance Excellence Assessments and Development Plans to promote Continuous Improvement.\nContributing to Exception Reports that pertain to the Operations department.\nEnsuring the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be protective of human health, safety and the environment.\nCoordinate and implement process and equipment projects.\nValidation of new processes and development of technical documentation for areas of responsibility.\nParticipation in and management of capital projects from inception to completion.\nEducation & Competencies\nThird level qualification or trade certificate in an Engineering/ Science / Manufacturing discipline.\nMinimum 3 years work experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment preferred.\nSupervisory experience preferred.\nThe base pay for this position is\nN/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.\nJOB FAMILY:\nManufacturingDIVISION:\nADC Diabetes CareLOCATION:\nIreland > Donegal Town : R267ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:\nWORK SHIFT:\nIe -
