You will have access to:\nCareer development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of .\nTransportation, food services, private medical services\nA company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.\nA company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.\nThe Opportunity\nThis position works out of our Zona Franca Coyol Alajuela, Building B31 location in the Vascular Division.\nAs the Maintenance Technician II, you’ll have the chance to provides technical support to equipment utilized in manufacturing and supporting areas, by repairing and maintaining equipment, utilizing technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools and test equipment, to achieve established maintenance and production metrics/goals.\nWhat You’ll Do\nResponsible for compliance with applicable corporate, divisional and site policies and procedures.\nResponsible of documents equipment repairs, moves and preventive maintenance performed on equipment, including part and instruments used, to assure appropriate documentation on Maximo system.\nResponsible to document any work performed in Maximo using the correct WO as per applicable procedure and justify all the working hours on the system.\nResponsible of maintains back-up/spare equipment, to meet equipment needs in operations and supporting areas.\nResponsible to maintains maintenance areas in a clean and organize condition, including maintenance lab, mezzanine and work stations (maintenance and operations WS).\nResponsible to responds to complaints on equipment and work orders (OM, PM and all WOs types), and correct it.\nShift\nC: From Sunday to Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.\nThis is an On Site position\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical degree: electronics, electric, maintenance, mechanical\n3 years of experience\nExperience related to equipment troubleshooting , improvement identification and implementation, equipment design and / or equipment maintenance positions is required, preferred in a medical devices companies.\nFor internal candidates, 1 years of experience within the company.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh Equipment Technical knowledge required.\nMicrosoft Offices Packages: Handles MS Word, Power Point and Excel at low to intermediate level.\nAble to read and interpretate basic technical manuals, schematic/electrical drawings and use precision tools and test equipment.\nLean and Six sigma knowledge, certification as a plus: yellow or green blet, TPM, preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, others\nMaintenance metrics knowledge as a plus, as example: equipment availability, MTBF, MTBR, etc.\nPLCs knowledge/training as a plus.\nCAB/CAD knowledge / certification , including SW and autocad as a plus\nOwnership , problem solving skills and low to medium complexity decision making required.\nMinimum supervision needed\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
