This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale network solutions across manufacturing sites, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity that enables critical business operations.\nThe ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in network switching, strong knowledge of network security, excellent communication skills, and a positive, collaborative approach to working with stakeholders across technical and manufacturing teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and support large-scale enterprise LAN, WLAN, and network infrastructure solutions.\n\nProvide technical leadership for manufacturing network projects, refresh initiatives, and site expansions.\n\nSupport day-to-day operational activities and troubleshoot complex network issues across manufacturing environments.\n\nDrive improvements in network performance, reliability, availability, and security.\n\nCollaborate closely with manufacturing teams to understand operational requirements and deliver effective network solutions.\n\nPartner with Cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards, vulnerability management, and network segmentation initiatives.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, network designs, and implementation plans.\n\nServe as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and project teams.\n\nContribute to network automation and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale network environments.\n\nStrong hands-on experience with:\nCisco Switching and Routing\n\nCisco Wireless technologies\n\nEnterprise Firewalls (Palo Alto or Check Point)\n\nTCP/IP networking fundamentals\n\nNetwork Security principles and best practices\n\nExperience supporting manufacturing or operational technology (OT) environments is highly desirable.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n\nStrong customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.\n\nPositive attitude, collaborative approach, and willingness to support business-critical manufacturing operations.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.\n\nExperience with Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Center, F5, Splunk, ServiceNow, NetBrain, LogicMonitor, Ansible, or Python.\n\nExperience with Network Segmentation, Access Control, and Network AIOps.\n\nExperience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nActs as a subject matter expert in enterprise networking and switching technologies.\n\nBuilds strong relationships with manufacturing and business stakeholders.\n\nDelivers secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions.\n\nDemonstrates ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem solving.\n\nCommunicates effectively and collaborates successfully within global teams.\n\nWhat We Offer\nAttractive compensation package that includes competitive pay and structure Bonus, as well as benefits such as\nPrivate Health Insurance for you and your family\n\nOccupational Pension Scheme with an excellence contribution rate\n\nLife assurance\n\nCareer Development\n\nGrowing business plus access to many more benefits\n\nLuas stop right outside the building\n\nUnderground parking available\n\nOnsite canteen\n\nThe base pay for this position is\nN/AIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.\nJOB FAMILY:\nIT Services & Solutions DeliveryDIVISION:\nBTS Business Technology ServicesLOCATION:\nIreland > Dublin : Block G, Cherrywood, Cherrywood Business ParkADDITIONAL LOCATIONS:\nWORK SHIFT:\nIe -
