The position is responsible for the leadership and management of franchise R&D Financial Planning and Analysis function (FP&A), across the departments of Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, and pipeline analysis. Position requires interface with functional Directors, Managers, and other members of the leadership team as required to manage cost center spending budgets, headcount management, pipeline strategies, management reporting, and effective R&D productivity initiatives.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nSupport Franchise Product Development and strategic planning forecast of pipeline analysis\n\nFacilitate Franchise quarterly LBE process with the R&D groups\n\nProvide allocated program HC and cost analysis to facilitate portfolio prioritization decision\n\nOwn franchise cost center’s month end close to ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.\n\nPrepare monthly close package with spending performance including variances analysis and drivers\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business opportunities and new products, by modeling alternative financial scenarios and conducting NPV/IRR and sensitivity analyses\n\nTake leading role in headcount allocation process for Product Development, Quality, Ops, Regulatory organizations to support program costing\n\nOwn the franchise allocated HC roll forward of actual vs LBE year end budget HC.\n\nDesign, develop, and publish financial dashboards to track program performance, productivity metrics and KPI’s\n\nTake initiative to identify non-routine process improvement opportunities and work with the team to execute improvement\n\nParticipate in the development of less experienced staff by setting an example, providing guidance, and offering counsel. May lead a project team. Participates in determining goals and objectives for projects\n\nRequired Qualifications\nFour-year degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting. Equivalent experience is defined as six years’ combined experience in the above areas\n\n8+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis (in addition to equivalent experience listed above, if applicable), or equivalence in planning and quantitative analysis function\n\nStrong Excel skills and enterprise system skills\n\nKnowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards\n\nAbility to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment\n\nAbility to lead projects, influence and engage others to accomplish projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.\n\nStrong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with financial management systems such as Hyperion, Essabse /Dodeca, or equivalent\n\nERP experience with SAP or similar systems\n\nExperience creating reports and dashboards in PowerBI from multiple data sources\n\nCPA and/or MBA a plus\n\nThe base pay for this position is\n$114,000.00 -
