You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, mitigate supply risks, and support business growth.\nLead and develop a team of procurement professionals.\nExecute sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.\nManage supplier relationships, performance, and issue resolution.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain and supplier risks.\nDrive cost reduction, inventory optimization, and working capital improvements.\nCollaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Finance to support business initiatives and continuous improvement.\nManage employee performance, development, and accountability.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and purchasing controls.\nBuild strong internal and external business relationships.\nPerform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, Market Strategy/Marketing Analysis or related discipline.\n7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supplier management, planning or supply chain operations, including experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments. \nDemonstrated success managing supplier relationships, negotiating purchase agreements, ensuring continuity of supply, supporting inventory management objectives, and executing procurement processes that meet business, quality, delivery, and cost requirements. \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMaster’s degree preferred.\nExperience in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing preferred.\nKnowledge of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract administration.\nExperience managing supplier performance and resolving quality, delivery, and supply issues.\nAbility to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.\nUnderstanding of inventory management, demand planning, and working capital optimization.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.\nExperience implementing efficient and compliant procurement processes.\nAbility to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.\nProven experience leading, coaching, and developing procurement teams.\nProficiency with ERP systems and procurement tools.\nCPSM, CPM, CSCP, or related supply chain certifications preferred.\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
