You will have access to:\nCareer development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of.\nA company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.\nA company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.\nThe Opportunity\nAs the Product Specialist, Abbott Vascular, you will be responsible for ensuring achievement of team and individual sales targets while promoting Abbott Vascular products to healthcare professionals, supporting clinical cases, driving market share growth, and executing sales and marketing strategies within the assigned territory.\nWhat You'll Do\nEnsure achievement of team and individual sales targets.\nMake regular sales calls to interventionists and cardiovascular laboratory staff, including technicians, radiologists, and nurses, to promote Abbott Vascular products through detailed product information, technical specifications, and the latest clinical data.\nDevelop and implement effective sales plans within assigned territories in accordance with budgets, sales volumes, product mix, and timelines.\nRegularly review sales objectives and strategies in line with overall company objectives and policies.\nProvide professional and technical advice to doctors, interventionists, and cath lab staff on PTCA cases, including product specifications and clinical applications.\nOrganize and deliver product presentations and educational programs to healthcare providers.\nPlan and coordinate local and overseas medical congresses, sponsorship activities, and marketing programs.\nImplement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase market share of assigned products.\nMonitor market share performance, territory performance, and product launch success.\nGather market intelligence and competitive information to support business growth and product launches.\nMaintain awareness of competitor activities and provide timely market feedback.\nParticipate in training programs, including journal clubs.\nIdentify opportunities for new account penetration and develop entry strategies for new hospitals and cath labs.\nManage inventory consignment levels, monitor product usage, and ensure timely replenishment.\nEnsure all documentation required for usage reporting, purchase orders, quotations, and billing processes is completed accurately and promptly.\nCoordinate with sub-distributors, purchasing departments, and agents to ensure efficient reporting and billing.\nConduct regular stock checks, monitor product expiry dates, and manage stock rotation activities.\nHandle product complaints in accordance with Abbott Vascular policies.\nLead projects as assigned by the direct reporting manager.\nEnsure full compliance with corporate policies and procedures.\nRequirements\nSpecialized Knowledge / Skills\nCardiology-based clinical and technical knowledge and sales experience.\nStrong clinical background in PTCA and ability to read and interpret CINE and discuss clinical cases with interventionists.\nProduct and technical knowledge of Abbott Vascular products.\nBasic Requirements\nMedical, Health Science, or Nursing background.\nSales and marketing experience in cardiology.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nStrong selling and negotiation skills.\nGood presentation skills.\nGood spoken English.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nAble to work long or irregular hours.\nPreferred Requirements\nProven sales track record of at least 5 years.\nValid Class 3 driving license.\nPersonal Traits\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work under pressure.\nOutgoing personality.\nWell-organized and detail-oriented.\nStrong self-discipline.\nLocation\nThis position is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
