an affordable and convenient path to getting a bachelor’s degree.\nA company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.\nA company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists\nThe Opportunity\nAs Production Planner you will, under limited supervision provides production planning/scheduling, inventory management, or distribution support to maintain production operations and customer product availability.\nWhat You'll Work On\nAnalyze planning requirements and initiate appropriate action to support the master schedule or independent demands. \nSchedule Manufacturing Operation to ensure availability of items under planners' control with minimum negative impact on manufacturing\nFacilitate weekly ITP meeting with CFT to align on production needs vs available capacity\nEnsure work-in-process availability Inventory \nForecast requirements and schedule production to meet these requirements. \nPerform system maintenance and updates to insure database integrity for planning fields and files. \nUtilize personal computer tools to perform analysis and provide recommendations to management. \nMaintain raw material and work in process inventories in accordance with pre-determined inventory levels and targets. \nRecommend procurement strategies for internal and external supplies compatible with economic, supply and quality goals. \nUnderstand raw materials needs and translate these needs into inventory plans and strategies. \nManage material flow from external and internal suppliers through manufacturing channels to achieve maximum production efficiency, minimizing waste and impacts to customers. \nUnderstands and applies manufacturing systems, interpolates manufacturing requirements. \nRequired Qualifications\nBA or BS preferred and 1-2 years operations/distribution experience, or directly relevant technical experience sufficient to demonstrate the knowledge typically associated with the degree and experience requirement. \nProficient in Power BI and Microsoft Excel with strong analytical foundation\nPreferred Qualification s\nPrevious operations experience and exposure to manufacturing materials principles and concepts \nThe base pay for this position is\n$61,300.00 -
