This role is responsible for completing a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses to help inform company strategy and run the business more efficiently and effectively. This position will work primarily in support of our Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics, as well as other enabling functions across the business.\nEssential Duties\nInclude but are not limited to the following:\nAnalyze company data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.\nEvaluate the economic and/or operational impact of new products and/or strategies.\nPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis, as needed\nSupport multiple business units and supporting functions in making key strategic decisions.\nRegular and reliable attendance.\nBuild and maintain analysis, models, or dashboards to support process optimization, forecasting, capacity planning, economic optimization, and performance management processes.\nSupport fact-based decision-making and measurement of operational effectiveness (i.e., new process operating as designed) and/or economics (i.e., ROI) of company initiatives.\nEffectively compile and communicate findings to leadership or stakeholders verbally, visually, and in writing.\nLiaise cross-functionally beyond primary internal customer group; including, but not limited to, finance, HR, business development, sales, marketing, IT, and R&D.\nPossess strong analytical skills, business intuition, and ability to build consensus across functions.\nPossess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to operate in a matrixed cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.\nBe adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and effectively respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.\nUphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.\nSupport and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.\nAbility to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 100% of a typical working day.\nAbility to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.\nMinimum Qualifications\n5+ years of relevant business experience.\n3+ years of direct business analytics experience.\nExperience with computer programming in R, SAS, Python, SQL, or another language.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or related field or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.\nProficient in any visualization tool (preferably Tableau), Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. \nDemonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position, with or without accommodation.\nExperience with SAP.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with laboratory, healthcare, or medical device industries.\nWorking understanding of database design and data modeling.\nExperience with Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control.\nWorking understanding of statistical methods for data analysis.\nExperience with Lean Six Sigma and statistical process control.\nExperience with simulation software such as Simul8, Arena, Simio, AnyLogic, etc.\nThe base pay for this position is\n$78,000.00 -
