The ideal candidate is motivated and proactive, with a passion for insights-driven marketing, creative problem solving and has a thorough understanding of creative projects, workflows and processes. Additionally, you'll demonstrate stewardship and provide project leadership to meet Division strategies and business objectives. The Mid-Level Project Manager leads the medium- to high-complexity projects (Tier 2 and Tier 1) and programs or business unit priorities within the organization, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with strategic goals. The Mid-Level Project Manager will manage multiple projects and strive for continuous improvement in project management practices. This role is part of the Abbott Creative team, a group within Abbott's Global Marketing and External Affairs team\n\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Participate as a Project Management subject matter expert for team processes, onboarding, and change management to promote continuous improvement.\nDocument project plan in project management software and maintain project documentation. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date. Proactively identify and manage project opportunities, issues and risks, and escalate issues in a timely manner to leadership.\nCollaborate with strategists, creative directors, writers, designers to develop strategically driven creative campaigns and content that attracts, engages and activates target audiences, while increasing Abbott’s share of voice and brand awareness metrics.\nServing as a central point of contact, build and maintain strategic partnerships with business partners, internal teams and external partners.\nPartner with Senior Project Managers to provide support and feedback to Junior Project Managers and team members. Set positive example for junior team members to foster skill development and supportive culture.\nExecute scope change management and project close-out processes and participate in project assessments and communicate lessons learned.\nPartner with Senior Project Managers and Operations to provide forecasting, tracking, reporting and oversight on project budget, expenditures and metrics.\nInfluence the development of ideas that reinforce the values of the Abbott brand and exhibit critical thinking to connect and align adjacent bodies of work.\nRecognize and celebrate achievements within project teams and organization.
