This is an onsite position.\nThe Supervisor is responsible for the daily management and coordination of Maintenance Warehouse Operations, Investment Recovery, Moving Services, and Rigging Services. This role oversees personnel, inventory control, asset disposition, material handling, equipment moves, and complex rigging operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. The supervisor provides leadership, training, resource planning, and operational oversight to support organizational goals and maintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements. This includes but is not limited to compliance with GMP, CAPA, FDA, DOT and IATA regulations, productivity improvements, safety standards and training/development.\nWhat You'll Work On:\nWarehouse Operations\nSupervise the daily operations of the maintenance warehouse and satellite locations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials and supplies. \nMaintain accurate inventory records and oversee inventory audits and cycle counts. \nMonitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities to ensure operational readiness. \nEnsure proper handling, storage, and security of materials, equipment, and tools. \nDevelop and maintain warehouse procedures that promote efficiency, accuracy, and safety. \nOversee chargeable space management and optimization. \nInvestment Recovery\nOversee the identification, collection, redistribution, sale, recycling, or disposal of surplus and obsolete assets. \nMaintain accurate records of asset transfers, disposals, and recoveries. \nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations regarding asset management and disposal. \nCollaborate with departments to facilitate effective utilization and recovery of organizational resources. \nMoving Services Operations\nSupervise the mover team responsible for office relocations, furniture installations, event setups, equipment moves, and internal logistics support. \nAssist with planning and scheduling move requests to meet customer and organizational needs. \nCoordinate labor, equipment, and transportation resources to ensure timely completion of assignments. \nEnsure proper handling and protection of furniture, equipment, and facilities during moves. \nResolve operational challenges and provide customer service support during move-related activities. \nRigging Operations\nOversee rigging activities involving the movement, placement, and installation of heavy equipment and machinery. \nEnsure all rigging operations are performed safely and in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. \nAssist with evaluating rigging plans, lifting methods, equipment requirements, and staffing needs for complex projects. \nCoordinate with contractors, vendors, engineers, and facility stakeholders during major equipment moves and installations. \nLeadership & Staff Development\nSupervise, coach, motivate and direct warehouse, mover, and rigging personnel. \nConduct performance evaluations and address employee performance concerns in a timely and constructive manner. \nPromote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within all assigned work groups. \nFacilitate employee training on safety practices, equipment operation, customer service, and departmental procedures. \nParticipate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and workforce planning activities. \nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, workplace safety regulations, and organizational policies. \nConduct regular safety inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings. \nInvestigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and implement corrective actions. \nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure employees utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE). \nMaintain compliance documentation, certifications, and training records. \nBudget & Administrative Responsibilities\nAssist with department budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation. \nMonitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. \nPrepare reports, performance metrics, and operational summaries for leadership. \nOversee vendor relationships and service contracts related to warehouse, moving, and rigging operations. \nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma / GED \nThree to five years in a leadership role in a medical device manufacturing operations warehouse or supply chain environment. \nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
