Under leadership guidance, this role supports multiple areas within Research & Discovery to build visualizations, transform data, capture data, and support end users. The role also participates in data flow documentation and general requirement gathering. This is a cross-functional role, working directly with discovery scientists and technology stakeholders to optimize data capture, visualization, and decision-making.\nResponsibilities:\nCommunicate - Ability to communicate with scientific individuals. from Discovery teams to understand existing workflows and data flow & gather requirements. \nBuild - Design and implement technology solutions that integrate, visualize, and analyze complex multi-platform data, including omics, biomarkers, & preclinical safety. \nIntegrate - Understand the value in capturing data properly and integrating data sets.\nSupport - Work directly with scientists to support their dashboarding or technical needs. \nTechnical Proficiency - Demonstrate high proficiency in python, SQL, & other technologies for data storage, transfer, integration, visualization, and analytics. \nAdaptability - Ability to work on multiple, sometimes very different, projects at one time. \n Bachelor’s Degree.\nBackground in life sciences, biology, or equivalent required.\nDedicated team player who can interface with discovery scientists and IT partners. \nStrong programming proficiency in Python (and possibly other modern languages) and strong familiarity with data visualization and pipelining tools such as Spotfire, or equivalent \nUnderstanding of software development process and familiarity with CI/CD tools. \nExcellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration & training, including documenting and presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders: outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. \nFamiliarity with modern data science and AI techniques & interest in further developing technical skills and scientific knowledge. \nAbility to work independently, multitask, and work within timelines. \nA self-motivated learner and thinker with a hands-on approach.\n Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:\nThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
