He/She leads and/or coordinates forecasting and commercial analytics activities supporting strategic commercial development initiatives. The role works closely with Pipeline Commercial, Market Access and Pricing, Finance, Operations, and Senior Leadership, reporting to the Director, Global Pipeline Forecasting, Neuroscience/Specialty.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nPartner with Pipeline Commercialization & Strategy (PCS) leads to provide a data-driven perspective on asset value.\nLead and coordinate forecasting efforts for assigned assets.\nPlan and support market insights activities to inform forecasting, in collaboration with Marketing Analytics & Business Insights (MABI).\nDevelop and maintain forecast models to inform long-range planning, milestone decisions, strategic planning, and business development opportunities.\nLead the design and implementation of model enhancements and new forecasting approaches as needed.\nProvide real-time decision support through close collaboration with PCS stakeholders and cross-functional partners across AbbVie, including:US Commercial and Finance\nResearch and Development (R&D)\nPortfolio Insights (PI)\nDecision Sciences\nMarketing Analytics & Business Insights (MABI)\nHealth Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)\nGlobal Epidemiology\nGlobal and US Market Access and Pricing\nRegulatory\nMedical\nGlobal Marketing & Commercial Operations\nArea and Affiliate Commercial organizations\n\n Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business required.MBA or advanced STEM degree preferred.\n\n7+ years of relevant sales forecasting or market analytics experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences consulting industries.\nExperience in providing marketing analytics and forecasting analyses for specialized therapeutic areas.\nExperience building forecast models and conducting analyses for decision support.\nDemonstrated experience in the incorporation and communication of primary and secondary data for strategic decision support.\nDemonstrated ability to influence decision making in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.\nSelf-motivated, with experience managing multiple projects across multiple teams while delivering results on-time.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, with significant Excel experience.\n Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:\nThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
