Hybrid (onsite 3 days a week/ 2 days WFH).\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner with R&D scientists to structure & answer analytical questions critical to the success of early discovery pipeline.\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to frame & tackle essential analytical questions that enable scientists to make data driven decisions.\nDevelop & implement innovative technology solutions through data capture, integration, visualization of large, scientific data sets.\nLead initiatives to implement state-of-the-art tools & enable analysis of scientific data, leading insights to a remarkable impact on patients’ lives.\n Education & Experience\nMust have a Master’s degree in biology, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, chemistry, data science or related field & 2 years of industry work experience in the healthcare/pharma industry as a data scientist or in an informatics role.\nOf the required work experience, must have 1 year:\napplying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to scientific data sets;\ntranslating data results in a non-technical format for written & oral presentations to R & D stakeholders;\ndeveloping statistical analyses & visualizations of scientific data in Python;\nextracting, transforming, & loading data & writing SQL queries, table creation, views, & reporting;\nperforming academic or industry research in life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry; &\nmanaging multiple projects effectively with timely deliverables.\nAlternatively, would accept a Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, chemistry, data science or related field & 5 years of industry work experience in the healthcare/pharma industry as a data scientist or in an informatics role.\nOf the required work experience, must have 5 years:\napplying statistical analyses, experiment design, regression & modeling to scientific data sets; &\ntranslating data results in a non-technical format for written & oral presentations to R & D stakeholders.\nOf the required work experience, must have 3 years:\ndeveloping statistical analyses & visualizations of scientific data in Python;\nextracting, transforming, & loading data & writing SQL queries, table creation, views, & reporting;\nperforming academic or industry research in life sciences or the pharmaceutical industry; &\nmanaging multiple projects effectively with timely deliverables.\nWork experience may be gained concurrently.
