Under the guidance of the FP&A Manager, this role prepares accurate financial analyses, contributes to business-partnering activities, and helps provide timely insights that support informed decision-making.\nKey Stakeholders:\nCommercial leadership (GM, BUD, MMs)/Finance leadership (FD,SCM,FSS)/Cross-Function leadership/Region&Intercon Finance\nCORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport annual planning, budgeting, and periodic forecasting activities by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, and reviewing assumptions.\nPrepare P&L and balance-sheet analyses, monthly management reports, and clear variance commentary against budget, forecast, and prior periods.\nAssist with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ad-hoc analyses to support commercial and operational decision-making.\nAnalyze financial and operational data, identify trends and risks, and contribute practical observations under manager guidance.\nMaintain data integrity, follow applicable financial policies and controls, and support accurate, timely reporting.\nContributes to the improvement and automation of reporting processes, tools, and recurring analyses.\nCoordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, clarify data, and support planning and reporting timelines.\nPrepare and present concise findings, analyses, and supporting materials for finance and business discussions.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBasic:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.\n2-4 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance roles.\nStrong Excel skills and demonstrated analytical ability, including the ability to organize, interpret, and communicate financial information.\nExposure to SAP or other financial systems and business intelligence tools is preferred.\nStrong communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nPreferred:\nPreferred CPA or CMA certification.\nKnowledge of cost accounting, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.\nFamiliarity with automation and process improvement in financial reporting.\nFluent English skill preferred.\n AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
