You will work as part of a strong multi-disciplined team of Fitters, Electricians, Process and Automation Engineers. We have a strong emphasis on identifying opportunities for improvements and efficiency. Our primary objective is the consistent supply of safe, first-class product to our customers.\nCarry out planned/unplanned maintenance on manufacturing, filling. Compounding, packaging equipment etc.\nTroubleshooting and fault finding of automatic, semi-automatic and batch manufacturing equipment, optimizing operation by Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques. Ensure all equipment is repaired to the highest standards.\nSupport equipment projects from design to install.\nIdentify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies and compliance to all site Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training and regulations.\nAssist with ‘On Call’ duties.\nMaintain up to date Training through eLMS.\nPrompt updates to Maximo system controlling reordering of stock parts.\nEngage with vendors and parts suppliers to source nonstock parts.\nResponsible for filling out plant downtime notification on Maximo for all instances of plant downtime. Report to include time down, corrective action, preventative action going forward and parts used.\nSupport continuous improvement and process efficiency programs, i.e., MEP, OEE, OPEX, RCA, RCM and productivity output for the BU.\nCommunication of any concerns about work processes to Management. \n A minimum of 2 years’ maintenance and troubleshooting experience in a highly automated pharmaceutical environment.\nNational Craft Senior Trades Electrical qualification is essential to be considered for this job.\nAutomation/Mechatronic qualification would be an advantage\nClear understanding and experience of maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical or mechanical, instrumentation and automation systems. This includes PLCs and HMI, pick-and-place robotics, control pneumatics, IPCs and PC-based tools, Vision systems, VSDs and Servo-drives, SCADA .\nProficient on Maximo to manage maintenance tasks and spare parts control.\nWillingness to work on set shift patterns and to travel to equipment vendors as required.\nExcellent communication and Interpersonal skills are essential for this job.\nAbility to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.\nTeam player and a good problem solver.\nBe flexible in this position and be prepared to undertake other work that may be assigned to you from time to time, which may be outside the area of your normal duties.\n AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
