From growing and learning together to fostering a supportive space for you to thrive-at AbbVie and beyond.\nJoin our dynamic team at AbbVie Ballytivnan (Sligo) and be part of groundbreaking work in Antibody Drug Conjugation (ADC).\nAs a Manufacturing Process Specialist you'll play a key role in providing technical leadership and support for manufacturing operations.\nYou will be at the forefront of room and equipment qualification, developing SOPs for new manufacturing processes, collaborating with vendors for equipment procurement, and establishing critical processes.\nThis is a great opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of our manufacturing processes and growing our ADC Manufacturing Capabilities in AbbVie Ballytivnan.\nWhat you will do:\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in formulation, aseptic filling processes, and isolator technology.\nRepresent the team at regulatory audits.\nOwn manufacturing equipment, process knowledge, and technology.\nSource and procure process equipment with technical oversight.\nProvide technical support for manufacturing processes and equipment.\nCollaborate with technical experts across the network to ensure consistency and best practices.\nDesign and implement technical studies and programs to support investigations and product improvements.\nDevelop knowledge of new pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.\nIdentify and manage continuous improvement projects.\nDrive process improvements for enhanced performance and cost reduction.\nEstablish specifications for process parameters, process controls, and equipment effectiveness.\nImplement statistical process control systems.\nMonitor and analyze process data during drug product manufacturing.\nOversee planning, execution, and reporting for technology transfer projects.\nSupport the introduction of new products and processes.\nLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.\nDevelop and modify procedures to support manufacturing operations.\nParticipate in process, equipment, and facilities validation efforts.\nLiaise with operations, quality, and S&T to optimize equipment and process performance.\nAdhere to relevant quality and safety policies.\nEnsure successful external inspections and audits.\nSupervise external contractors.\n What you will need:\nMinimum level 8 qualification in an engineering, science or technical discipline\nAt least three (3) years in pharmaceutical process engineering, with relevant experience of batch processing, technical transfers, scale-up, commissioning and validation in a cGMP pharmaceutical or Biologics industry\nSpecific experience in process validation to US/EU markets\nStrong record of achievement\nDemonstrated experience of technical writing of complex issues.\nMust have experience in taking a lead role in investigations.\nHigh level of technology experience\nGood knowledge of quality systems both FDA and EU regulations as they relate to manufacturing, facilities and process engineering.\nExperience in new product introductions is desirable\nDemonstrated project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements are required\nExperience working with lean methodologies is desirable.\nPrevious experience in lyophilization and sterilization operations preferable\n AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
