Follow @abbvie on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube.\n This position will be responsible for processing and correcting payroll transactions for specific countries as assigned (generally smaller, less complex countries or assisting with larger, more complex countries), supporting pre-payroll activities, year-end payroll activities, reviewing and verifying files generated internally or by global payroll vendors (GPV), enforcing key payroll deadlines, as well as answering employee/manager queries.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nPartnering with internal stakeholders and/or with Global Payroll Vendor (GPV) to process payroll and resolve payroll transactions, including providing payroll inputs.\nReview and validate payroll files (eg. Payroll Reconciliation File, Bank File) and reports generated internally or by the GPV for processing.\nSupport pre-payroll activities (eg. finalize data entry, review master data file quality, and confirm time/payroll data completeness).\nSupport monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll processing activities (eg. develop and provide payroll calendar, review statutory reports and notify AbbVie employees of availability of tax information, if applicable).\nRespond to internal AbbVie stakeholders (Tax, Treasury, Finance and BHR, Compliance) regarding questions or issues they have raised around payroll data and/or payroll reports.\nAnswer employee/manager queries or assist GPV with other queries.\nMaintain thorough audit trail and organized system. Support in audit requests providing the reports and proof of evidence as requested.\nEnsure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.\nSupport role for global, regional and country specific projects.\nSome travel may be required.\n Bachelor’s in finance, Administration or Accounting.\nWritten and oral communication skills, in local language and English. At least B2.\nPreferably with education in labor laws applicable to payroll.\nMinimum 2 years of payroll operational experience working on Payroll and Time and Attendance Systems, such as ADP, Kronos, UKG, Workday and experience integrating with 3rd party applications, for Administrative and hourly employees.\nStrong customer orientation and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.\nStrong customer orientation.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, as well as to get results through collaboration and coordination with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.\nGood analytical and process diagnostic skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture.\nStrong spreadsheet and database skills.\nContinuous improvement orientation.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and requests.\n AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
