You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the production of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) under rigorous quality and compliance standards, helping to ensure a safe and reliable supply of medicines to patients.\nDue to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOperational and Technical\nExecute batch manufacturing instructions with flawless adherence to established procedures and process-critical steps.\n\nIndependently perform key API processing unit operations (e.g., charging, vessel transfer, filtration, drying, pack-off) with minimal supervision.\n\nVerify batch recipes and manufacturing documentation, provide input on DCS recipe design, and support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives to drive manufacturing excellence.\n\nSafety\nMaintain a safe working environment in line with EHS policies, participate in the site Emergency Response Team, and contribute to safety risk assessments and process hazard analyses.\n\nQuality\nEnsure timely resolution of batch documentation errors and complete all records per GMP/GDP standards, keeping the plant audit-ready at all times.\n\nCommunicate issues promptly to stakeholders and fulfill ongoing training requirements.\n\nSchedule\nDeliver assigned tasks on time, proactively managing complexities to prevent delays, and escalate scheduling risks promptly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.\n\nWhat You’ll Learn\nThe opportunity to grow with AbbVie's only manufacturing site in Asia, located in Singapore, gaining exposure to cGMP manufacturing within Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) operations.\n\nHands-on technical proficiency in key API unit operations - including solid and liquid charging, vessel transfer, filtration, drying and pack-off - while operating DeltaV and POMS/MES systems.\n\nDevelop a strong foundation in batch documentation, quality/safety compliance (GMP/GDP, PHA) and continuous improvement.\n\n Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or an equivalent technical-related discipline.
