Support in product and process development projects (NPI and MPS) from the R&D function. Assist in the evaluation of new materials, new products/processes or modifications to existing products/processes, as well as analysis and measurement methods.\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES\nCollaborate in process/product development for NPI (New Product Introductions) or MPS (Marketed Product Support) projects, as part of the Development Sub-Team.\nSupport laboratory activities related to R&D projects, product development, and technical investigations.\nDevelop/support necessary equipment testing, validation and qualification.\nAssist in technical efforts or projects related to product design, especially when they are linked to regulatory agencies responsibilities. \nParticipate in technical discussions and communicate test results to R&D engineers and other team members.\nAssist engineers with documentation associated with equipment assessments, qualification protocols, validation activities, and reports.\nSupport the maintenance and organization of equipment lifecycle activities.\nSupport all other functions inherent to the position such as change control, audits, CAPAs, complaint investigations, Regulatory and Marketing inquiries and related testing or data generation, and other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior.\n Active university student (with at least 80% of study plan completed) in one of the following areas:Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, biotechnology or related degree.\n\nMaintain active student status and insurance policies as required by law and company policies.\nB2 english level or above.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel commonly required).\nEthical commitment, teamwork skills, initiative, adaptability, effective communication, organizational ability, and attention to detail.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.\nBasic data analysis abilities.\nStrong interest in hands-on prototyping work and experimentation.\nAbility to follow technical procedures.\nExcellent technical writing and verbal skills.\nAttention to detail and good organizational skills.\nExperience using Minitab (desirable).\nExperience using Solidworks (desirable).\n Duration & Benefits:\nDuration: 6 months with possible extension.\nOn site- Administrative Schedule.\nMonthly financial incentive, transportation and meal support.\nProfessional mentorship, development of technical and soft skills, networking, and potential employment opportunities upon completion of the internship.\nParticipation in impactful projects and direct interaction with international teams.\nAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
