As a critical member of the Operations Finance department, you will serve as the financial lead for a key business unit or support function. partnering with the business leaders to drive strategic initiatives, process improvement and operational excellence. Your expertise will support growth, ensure financial accuracy, and uphold best practices in compliance and reporting as part of our talented finance team.\nResponsibilities:\nAct as the primary finance contact for a designated business unit or support function, providing expert financial guidance and support.\nLead month-end close processes including journal preparation, variance analysis, headcount analysis, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.\nOversee Financial Planning and analysis for your area including monthly forecasts (LBEs), annual budgets and long-range planning (LRP).\nMonitoring, analyse, and report key financial metrics and business performance to senior management and cross functional departments.\nEnsure all accounting and reporting procedures comply with SOX and internal control guidelines.\nConduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations through Blackline.\nChampion process improvement initiatives to deliver business objectives.\nSupport external and internal audits processes, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with cross functional departments including Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing and Operational Excellence.\n You will be a Qualified Accountant with one of the Recognized Accountancy Bodies.\nYou will hold a Third level qualification in business/accounting.\nProven experience working with a fast and dynamic Finance Team.\nExperience within a global manufacturing environment or multinational preferred.\nSAP and Blackline experience is preferred.\nResults driven, striving to meet all targets and metrics set by site/dept and division leaders.\nAbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
