In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for completing tasks relating to compliance and planning. The compliance responsibilities include completion of month end accruals, review of actuals vs. budget, providing commentary on actuals and completing tasks relating to audits & SOX as required by Corporate Finance.\nThis role reports to the Lead, Finance, Neuroscience, works very closely with marketing and is a key player in ensuring the accuracy of the financial information.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nA key responsibility is to lead and enhance the monthly forecasting process, while providing support for scenario analysis and forecasting for new product launches.\nAssist, in preparation of the Plan, Update & LBE cycles of the Neuroscience Division.\nResponsible for completing the review, tracking and analysis of Neuroscience expenses.\nProvide financial information to groups supported regarding impacting goals.\nAssist Product Managers in establishing Plan, Update and LRP budgets.\nWork as needed with the Divisional Finance Manager and various internal AbbVie functional areas with Neuroscience POCNs and Contracts.\nGathering data from multiple sources (eg. IQVIA, Patient Support Program, etc.) to understand patient and market dynamics for improved forecasting.\nCompleting monthly accruals for Neuroscience working closely with Market Access, Customer Excellence (Trade), Marketing and Divisional Finance Manager.\nProviding monthly commentary of results vs. budget.\nPerform Ad Hoc financial analysis upon request.\nContinuous process improvement.\nCORE COMPETENCIES\nMaintain effectiveness in a fast-paced environment with changing tasks, situations, responsibilities, and stakeholders.\nBuilds and maintains good relationships with team and other colleagues/management.\nTakes actions to achieve goals (proactive/shows initiative).\nConstantly seeking out new ways to improve processes (innovative).\nSense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines.\nCapacity to work under pressure quickly and autonomously.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrates a strong personal capacity for learning new aspects of the business and encourages others to do the same.\nBilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.\nAbbVie aims to offer a French-speaking workplace in Quebec and has made efforts to limit English requirements.
