Our goal is to help patients live healthier lives and we are proud to be a Great Place to Work.\nWe are recruiting a Senior Microbiologist to join our QC team on site in Ballytivnan, Sligo on a 12-month contract.\nIn your role as a Senior Microbiologist, you will be responsible for providing an effective and analytical service to the plant ensuring that that products manufactured are tested to specification on time and plant quality and safety goals are met. This position will take responsibility for ensuring the timely testing and release of all raw materials, in-process, finished product, stability and contract testing.\nWhat you will do:\nMaintain and align with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements\nUnderstand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity and ensure implemention.\nCarry out environmental and product microbiological tests as required\nDefine and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing.\nLead validation of equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.\nLead Test method transfer of microbiological methods\nFurther develop and streamline microbiological laboratory procedures.\nMaintain and approve up-to-date and detailed records of all tests performed\nAdheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies.\nLead and support any lab related investigations.\n What you will need:\n3rd level qualification in relevant Science discipline\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in Pharma industry\n5 years in a lab-based role\nStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements\nMust have strong knowledge of HPLC, GC,LCMS, GCMS, Automatic titration, Identification techniques.\n AbbVie is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to operating with integrity, driving innovation, transforming lives and serving our community.
