In this site-based role, you will lead the site’s occupational/ industrial hygiene program and provide technical EHS support for laboratory safety. The ideal candidate will have strong lab and chemical safety experience, along with a background in industrial hygiene.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and implement EHS programs, training, and policies to reduce incidents and ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.\nConduct qualitative and quantitative occupational hygiene risk assessments and exposure monitoring.\nDevelop sampling strategies, technical reports, and recommendations to reduce risk.\nPerform ergonomic assessments and process design risk reviews and provide recommendations to reduce risk.\nDevelop and deliver occupational hygiene and ergonomics training.\nEnsure compliance with legal, ethical, and company EHS requirements.\nLead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.\nParticipate in process safety reviews and risk assessments for lab and process safety risks.\nSupport and implement EHS improvement projects.\nMaintain current knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and industrial processes.\nIdentify and promote process improvements that strengthen EHS performance and reduce risk.\nCommunicate compliance status, KPIs, trends, and key issues to stakeholders.\nLead or support cross-functional teams to achieve EHS objectives.\nMonitor regulatory changes, assess impact, and implement required updates to ensure compliance.\n Degree in Chemical Engineering, and 3-5 years related industry experience\nDemonstrated experience in process safety and process safety management systems is required.\nTraining or experience with PHA an advantage\nWorking experience as a process/project projects in a chemical or pharmaceutical setting is preferred.\nExperience working within a regulatory environment is required.\nPositive track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal, external clients and customers.\nDemonstrated ability to successfully negotiate with peers, and customers, is required.\nStrong problem-solving skills.\nAbility to influence, motivate and empathize with peers, supervisors, middle management and vendors to meet the set goals.Personal skills to facilitate the work in cross functional team environment.\nSound judgement and problem-solving skills, communication skills including English, excellent interpersonal and consulting skills, good organizational and computer skills, and positive customer orientation.\n Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:\nThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this roleat the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
