Follow @abbvie on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube.\n The Sr. Global Supply Planner (GSP) is responsible for the short-term, long-term, or E2E range supply chain planning activities and controlling the flow of product globally between manufacturing sites and the distribution centers. The objective is to meet market demand and optimize inventory levels in our supply network. To achieve this, the GSP must build strong relationships with supply sites, brand operation managers, ECM managers, Quality Assurance, Finance, Distribution, the Affiliates, and other stakeholders. The GSP knows the business and can anticipate future opportunities and risks and continuously looks to raise the bar to ensure success for AbbVie and assurance of supply for our patients.\nResponsibilities:\nDaily contact with one or more supply plants (internal and external) to coordinate the supply of finished products, bulk, active pharmaceutical ingredients or supporting materials\nSupport financial plan/LRP cycles by providing required data and input to long-term supply strategy\nCoordinate and process inbound and outbound shipments\nEnsure SAP and JDA are kept up to date with the latest information and that customers are informed timely of supply updates and risks\nParticipate in plant meetings to review and improve performance\nManage stakeholder relationships and expectations\nDrive continuous improvements and participate in initiatives led by other colleagues\nOffer innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities and to address challenges in the Global Supply Planner function\nExecute financial processes including hedging, inventory reserve review, and product scrapping\nSupport artwork changes by coordinating related supply activity\nCreate impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipate and respond to changes\nInfluence others when needed through use of SME knowledge and enterprise view\nSupport S&OE process through root-cause analysis, problem solving, and creative thinking to drive resolution\nOnboard/train new employees\nAct as a project lead when required\n Bachelor or Master level, preferably in operations, supply chain or business management\n3-5 years’ work experience in a similar environment\nMust be experienced with ERP systems, preferably SAP\nBe a team player with a focus on improvement and a strong drive for results\nMust possess high-level analytical skills\nExcellent written and oral communication is required\nExcellent organizational skills are required\nProven strong problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills\nAbility to step into leadership role when required\nPersistent, resilient and resourceful when confronted with obstacles, and resolved issues in a timely manner\n Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law:\nThe compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
