Shift Leader Trainees should increase store wine and spirits sales by providing a high level of personalized service with Guests and Team Members, and performing the following duties Responsibilities:\nServe as Manager on Duty in training, open and close the store, and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing store operations.\n\nGreet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.\n\nOperate a Point-of-Sale terminal to process Guest transactions, including accurate cash handling, accepting other forms of tender, and applying coupons or discounts per company procedures; also handle opening and closing functions including reconciliation.\n\nStay current on required training, company policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and provide an informed, high-quality Guest experience.\n\nTrain, coach, and direct other sales associates when acting as Manager on Duty in training to promote exceptional customer service and ensure adherence to store operation procedures.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, Team Member areas (e.g., lockers and kitchen), and customer-facing spaces such as restrooms.\n\nAssist with daily property upkeep by sweeping and removing debris inside the store and in exterior areas such as parking lots and walkways, collecting shopping carts, emptying trash, and performing routine restroom cleaning.\n\nProvide wrapping service for ABC products, assemble custom gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.\n\nUnload and put away weekly truck deliveries. Merchandise and display product on store shelves and in beer coolers per Operational Guidelines, restocking from stockrooms as needed.\n\nPerform other tasks/projects as assigned by store management.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMust be 21 years of age or older.\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n\nAt least 6 months of proven experience and/or training in a management or leadership role; at least 2 years of education from a college or technical school in Business Management or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nThe ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.\n\nGeneral Requirements:\nMaintain regular and predictable onsite attendance: All Team Members are expected to report\nto work as scheduled and remain onsite for the duration of their shifts.
