The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT systems, managing networks, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure. The position will report to the IT Manager.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nTo maintain and support the company’s IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations and providing technical support to users.\n\nKey\nDuties :\n\n Administer Microsoft 365\n accounts, licences, email, Teams, and related services.\n\n Maintain Windows\n computers and servers, including setup, updates, monitoring, and\n troubleshooting.\n\n Apply security updates\n and maintain endpoint protection, backups, and recovery procedures.\n\n Test backups and support\n recovery when files or services are lost or unavailable.\n\n Help users resolve IT\n issues, record work in the service desk, and escalate complex problems.\n\n Maintain accurate\n records of devices, accounts, configurations, changes, and support\n procedures.\n\n Work with suppliers and\n service providers to resolve technical issues and maintain services.\n\n Report security\n incidents, suspected account misuse, and service risks promptly.\n\nKey Technical Responsibilities:\n\n Manage Fortinet network\n equipment, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch switches, and\n FortiAP wireless access points.\n\n Configure and\n troubleshoot network services, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs,\n routing, and switching.\n\n Maintain Hyper-V hosts\n and virtual machines, including monitoring capacity and service\n availability.\n\n CCNA certification or\n equivalent CCNA-level networking knowledge.\n\n A positive, helpful\n attitude, with patience and professionalism when supporting users and\n working with colleagues.\n\nKey Qualifications :\n\n Diploma or degree in\n Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent\n practical experience may be considered.\n\n Experience supporting\n Windows computers, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.\n\n Familiarity with account\n security, multi-factor authentication, backups, endpoint protection, and\n IT service desk processes.\n\nKey Competencies :\n\n Clear, patient\n communication with technical and non-technical users.\n\n Careful handling of\n confidential company and employee information.\n\n Good troubleshooting,\n prioritisation, recordkeeping, and follow-through.\n\n Able to work\n independently while following IT policies and approval procedures.\n\nThis is more than an IT role.
