Our focus is to expand our technology lead, acquire and integrate less efficient competitors, and tap into new segments through an integrated inbound marketing and sales approach. \nJob Overview: \nABC Legal is looking for a full-time, remote Mobile Engineer to build new systems on both Android and iOS as part of a small, hands-on development team.We're looking for someone who is excited by mobile but doesn't stop there: a developer who enjoys working across platforms and across the broader stack.If you're self-motivated, enjoy difficult, far-reaching problems, and want to use a lot of skills rather than stay in one lane, you'll have the opportunity to take on as much as you want. \nKey Responsibilities: \nDesign, develop, and maintain new systems on native Android and iOS, with a focus on cross-platform consistency in design and implementation. \nLook beyond mobile: contribute across the broader code base and stack, including web services and databases. \nTake full ownership of your work through development, testing, deployment, and production support. \nFollow established team patterns and conventions while helping shape how we move forward. \nCollaborate closely with the development teams, staying responsive and engaged in day-to-day communication. \nParticipate in regular team check-ins (once or twice a week) to share progress and raise blockers. \nUse AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully to work faster, solve problems, and improve the quality of your code. \nQualifications: \nRequired \nHands-on experience developing on native mobile platforms, Google Android and Apple iOS. \nA genuine interest in both platforms; you aren't married to Android or iOS. \nWillingness to follow established patterns and take input from teammates. \nStrong attention to detail, with knowledge of design patterns and coding and testing best practices. \nExperience with RESTful web APIs and applications. \nProficiency in languages such as Kotlin, Java, and Swift (Objective-C a plus), and with Android Studio and Xcode. \nExperience with Git and with agile software development. \nSelf-motivated, with a strong delivery focus and the ability to work well in a small team. \n3-5 years of professional experience. \nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience. \nNice to have \nFull-stack experience, including web services and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS). \nInterest in digging into the service side of the stack. \nExperience with UI/UX design principles and data visualization. \nDeeper knowledge of the Android and iOS ecosystems from end-user, development, and deployment perspectives. \nBenefits \nHealth, Dental, Vision insurance \n401(k) with company matching \nPaid time off \n7 Paid company holidays \n4 Floating holidays per-year \nLife Insurance and AD&D Insurance \nLong Term Disability \nHealth Care Reimbursement Flexible Spending Account \nDependent Care Flexible Spending Account \nEAP (Employee Assistance Program) \nPet Insurance \nSalary Range: The compensation range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 depending on experience. \nSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, remote \nWe know that a company's success starts with its employees.
