The person in this position will work closely with other SDETs, systems engineers, manual test engineers, and software engineers to ensure effective processes, cross-functional collaboration, and high quality of the company's products.\nResponsibilities:\nReview, update, leverage, and extend existing tools and test automation frameworks to develop new automated tests for Android, iOS, and cloud applications to validate system requirements and support other testing needs.\nMaintain existing automated tests to match requirements changes, changes across releases, and new understanding of system performance.\nOversee and guide automated tests, record results, and document issues using standard tools and processes during formal test cycles.\nExecute and report dry runs of new and updated automated test cases.\nOversee and guide the performance of manual, scripted, and exploratory testing to support new feature development and regression testing efforts, grow domain expertise, and support manual system test needs.\nLead collaborative work with systems, development, and test engineers to develop test automation procedures and protocols for design verification. Includes obtaining approval from all stakeholders and ensuring no gaps in testing across levels.\nLead collaborative work with systems, development, and test engineers to identify and correct issues.\nPerform a systematic review of automated test cases to ensure that both typical use and edge cases are properly covered (happy path, alternate path, negative path, etc. ).\nDevelop protocols for verification and validation of test tools.\nWrite reports and log issues for executed verification tests.\nParticipate in the planning and execution of technical project work.\nCreate and document novel and robust test methodologies and provide feedback and recommendations for product/design changes.\nConduct and encourage frequent formal and informal communication with team members to ensure full engagement and efficient operation.\nAnalyze design changes implemented after execution of verification and validation to determine regression testing required.\nProvide technical consulting and mentoring in areas of expertise to early-career members of the DV Test Team\nEnsure compliance with Insulet quality policies, procedures, and practices.\nEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and practices.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, biomedical engineering, or a related field.\n5+ years total experience developing automated tests and frameworks for mobile, web, and cloud testing.\n3+ years of experience in testing medical devices in a multidisciplinary project team environment, or an advanced degree and 2+ years of experience\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nStrong software skills are required, including use of Python, Java, JUnit, or TestNG.\nStrong knowledge of HTTP protocols (REST/SOAP) and API testing.\nKnowledge of Android or iOS technology stack.\nStrong knowledge of SCM tools (Git, Bitbucket).\nExperience working with CI tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).\nPrevious experience working in the medical device industry (FDA/ISO regulated) is strongly preferred.\nPrevious experience working in an Agile-based software development environment is strongly preferred.\nFamiliarity with story design and the use of Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence, and Bamboo) in the software development process.\nStrong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nTest engineering training and/or certification is a plus.\nStrong technical judgment with extensive technical leadership skills.\nAbility to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.\nExperience in directing associates and leading small cross-functional teams.\nFamiliarity with system-level testing of software-based medical devices.\nTravel Requirements (if applicable): Up to 10% of the
