Because when you thrive, we all thrive.\n\nLocation: Hyderabad, Telangana, India\nThis role requires working from our office 2-3x a week\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines to\nsupport our enterprise data warehouse and analytical needs.\nBuild scalable data models to support real-time transaction monitoring,\nreconciliation, chargeback tracking, and fraud analysis.\nWork with stakeholders across departments to understand business\nrequirements and translate them into actionable data models and\nreports.\nManage and optimize large-scale data systems using Oracle and SQL\nServer.\nIntegrate and normalize payment data from diverse platforms (e.g.,\nWorldpay, Adyen, Stripe).\nIdentify and troubleshoot data discrepancies between systems to\nsupport timely reconciliation and root cause analysis.\nBuild dashboards and reports to monitor approval rates, decline\nreasons, dispute trends, and interchange fee performance.\nDrive automation in payment reporting processes to reduce manual\neffort and improve accuracy.\nMaintain documentation of ETL workflows, data dictionaries, and SLA\nguarantees for downstream consumers.\nThrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and help shape data\nstrategy from the ground up.\nContinuously improve data engineering practices and drive automation\nwherever possible.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering role with AWS experience is mandatory\nExperience in Python, Spark, or other data transformation frameworks\nExperience working with Databricks platform and related technologies.\n Strong experience with Oracle and SQL Server, including complex SQL\nProven expertise in designing and building ETL workflows for large-\nscale data warehouses\nWorking understanding of payment processing flows, PSP integrations, and key payment metrics (e.g., conversion rate, chargeback rate, retry logic)\nFamiliarity with data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, SCDs).\nExperience handling ambiguity in problem statements and\nrequirements; and converting them into structured data solutions\nExperience in Statistical modelling for forecasting and fraud analytics\npreferred\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nAND IT’S GREAT TO HAVE:\nFlexibility in work timings to collaborate across time zones (beyond regular day shift)\nStrong organizational skills to maintain documentation and streamline workflows\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus\n\nWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:\nPurpose led company with a Values focused culture - Best Life, One Team, Growth Mindset\n\nTime Off - competitive PTO plans with 15 Earned accrued leave, 12 days Sick leave, and 12 days Casual leave per year\n\n11 Holidays plus 4 Days of Disconnect - once a quarter, we take a collective breather and enjoy a day off together around the globe. #oneteam\n\nGroup Mediclaim insurance coverage of INR 500,000 for employee + spouse, 2 kids, and parents or parent-in-laws, and including EAP counseling\n\nLife Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance\n\nBest Life Perk - we are committed to meeting you wherever you are in your fitness journey with a quarterly reimbursement\n\nPremium Calm App - enjoy tranquility with a Calm App subscription for you and up to 4 dependents over the age of 16\n\nSupport for working women with financial aid towards crèche facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for their little ones while they focus on their careers\n\nAt ABC Fitness, we don’t just build technology-we build communities and transform lives.
