The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the data migration strategy, ensuring data quality, and managing data migration activities across multiple business functions and stakeholders.\nThe role requires close collaboration with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and client stakeholders across Singapore, offshore delivery centers, and the USA.\nResponsibilities\nData Migration Leadership\nDefine and execute the overall data migration strategy, approach, and governance framework.\nLead all phases of the SAP data migration lifecycle including Data Assessment, Data Cleansing, Data Extraction, Transformation, Validation, Mock Loads, Cutover, and Go-Live Support.\nDevelop and maintain the Data Migration Plan, Migration Tracker, Risk Register, and Status Reports.\nDrive data migration workshops with business stakeholders and process owners.\nData Management\nIdentify data objects, mapping requirements, transformation rules, and data quality requirements.\nEstablish data quality metrics and monitor data readiness throughout the project lifecycle.\nOversee cleansing activities and coordinate issue resolution with business users.\nEnsure compliance with data governance and master data management standards.\nSAP Migration Execution\nLead migration activities using SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP S/4HANA Migration Tools, SAP BODS, SAP Data Services, LSMW, or other approved migration tools.\nCoordinate data extraction from legacy systems and loading into SAP environments.\nManage multiple mock conversions and reconciliation cycles.\nEnsure successful migration of master data, transactional data, and open items.\nStakeholder Management\nAct as the primary point of contact for all data migration matters.\nWork closely with USA business stakeholders to align migration schedules, testing activities, and cutover requirements.\nFacilitate discussions between business, technical, functional, and offshore teams.\nProvide regular executive-level updates on migration progress, risks, and dependencies.\nTesting & Cutover\nSupport SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal, and Go-Live activities.\nCoordinate data validation and reconciliation activities with business users.\nLead migration cutover planning and execution.\nEnsure post-go-live data stabilization and issue resolution.\nRequirements\nMinimum 10+ years of SAP experience with at least 5 years leading SAP Data Migration workstreams.\nProven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or global rollouts.\nStrong experience in:SAP S/4HANA Data MigrationSAP Migration CockpitSAP Data Services (BODS)SAP MDG (preferred)Data Mapping and Data GovernanceData Quality and Reconciliation\nExperience migrating:Business PartnersCustomersVendorsMaterialsFinance DataOpen TransactionsInventory and Asset Data\nStrong understanding of SAP business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and Manufacturing.\nExperience managing offshore and distributed delivery teams.\nExcellent stakeholder and communication skills.\nSAP S/4HANA Certification is preferred.\nExperience with USA rollouts and multi-country implementations will be an advantage.\nKnowledge of SOX controls and compliance requirements is highly desirable.\nExperience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, or Distribution industries is preferred.\nFamiliarity with SAP Activate methodology would be beneficial.\nStrong leadership, stakeholder management, planning, execution, problem-solving, and risk management skills are advantageous.\nExperience driving data quality improvements and managing complex migration cutovers and go-live activities would be a plus.\nWhy Join Us\nAt ABeam Consulting, we place a strong emphasis on collaboration, and helping our employees grow and develop their skills, offering a supportive and empowering work environment.
